Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young(notes), destined for another team next season via trade or release, may be working out with Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, but the Vikes have not had internal discussions about acquiring him, a league source tells NFL.com.
The site notes that the team is expected to add a veteran to work alongside Christian Ponder(notes), whom the Vikings just drafted out of Florida State with the 12th pick overall. But Young does not appear to be under consideration.
In the eight games Young started for the Titans last year, he threw for 10 touchdowns, three interceptions and 1,255 passing yards.
