Watch the Wisconsin standout in his days at Benet Academy in Illinois.

Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky has the Badgers into the Sweet 16, seemingly on a collision course with Arizona for a right to advance to the Final Four.

But Kaminsky is well-accustomed to the pressures of high-stakes March basketball.

At Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.), Kaminsky was a 6-foot-10, 225-pound center who showed glimpses of the finesse and footwork that has allowed him to thrive at Wisconsin and project as a potential lottery selection in the 2015 NBA Draft.

An all-state selection as a senior and an honorable mention pick as a junior, Kaminsky helped lead Benet Academy to a 51-5 record during that stretch.

He also had some famous battles in the IHSA playoffs. As a junior, Benet Academy came up short against Simeon (Chicago) and Jabari Parker, losing 58-50. A year later, Benet Academy's dream for a perfect season was shattered by last year's March Madness superstar, Ryan Boatright, who scored 29 points for Aurora East (Ill.) in a 60-52 upset victory.

Kaminsky could do it all for Benet, including playing point guard when injuries necessitated it. He averaged 14.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.2 blocks as a senior.
