On the defensive side of the ball. The Panthers used the draft and free agency to rebuild their defense Brandon Boykin came to the Panthers through free agency. Over his career his numbers are just about the same as Josh Norman.

From the draft they picked up defensive tackle Vernon Butler who fits right in with the other defensive lineman. They also picked up three corner backs Darryl Worley, James Bradberry and Zack Sanchez. These young players have a lot of guts and they will hit you.

By making smart moves and good decisions the Panthers have placed themselves in the mix of things in the NFC. The Panthers are a stronger team with some longevity.

Once that the new acquisitions get used the system put in place by the Panthers coaching staff they will become the assets that they were brought to Carolina to become.
