The chances of a former Auburn Tiger taking home an NBA Finals Championship ended Wednesday night with the Boston Celtics completing a “gentlemen's sweep” of former Tiger Isaac Okoro's Cleveland Cavaliers. After eliminating chuma okeke's Orlando Magic in the first round, Cleveland was a massive underdog in the series against the team with the best record in the NBA. Unfortunately, an upset wasn't in the cards for the Cavs as Okoro, and the hopes of a former Tiger winning a ring were sent home well before the Finals.
Allen was a late scratch ahead of tip-off.
