In the aftermath of a second consecutive embarrassing loss that evened their best-of-seven playoff series with Orlando at two games apiece, the Cavs arrived back home and spent the next 48-ish hours regrouping, strategizing and considering what adjustments — if any — needed to be made to regain control of a series that was beginning to slip away. In what was a microcosm of their at-times turbulent season, the Cavs were able to overcome, escaping with a gutsy 104-103 win.
When the Cavs showed up to the arena Tuesday night, they didn't know Marcus Morris Sr. would play. Then he hit one of the biggest shots of the series.
Allen was a late scratch ahead of tip-off.
