Advice: The Blue Jays say an MRI "revealed a bone bruise with a very small flap of cartilage caught in the joint." It's an injury that has unfortunately knocked Travis out for the remainder of the postseason, but he's expected to have a relatively normal offseason and be ready to go for spring training.Rotoworld
Advice: Travis suffered a right knee injury in Game 1 of the ALDS and then a new injury to the same knee in Game 1 of the ALCS. The Blue Jays didn't offer a specific diagnosis, but it appears that Travis should have a relatively normal offseason. "We’re optimistic that he’ll be ready to go (for spring training)," Atkins said. "At this point, we’re optimistic that he’ll have a very good offseason, as well."

Advice: Travis was diagnosed with a bone bruise in the knee during the ALDS and while Atkins wouldn't go into specifics, he apparently did more damage in Game 1 of the ALCS on Friday. Atkins noted that MLB could have denied replacing him on the roster due to a pre-existing injury, but they were ultimately able to make the change since they were separate injuries.Rotoworld
Advice: Travis aggravated a right knee injury on Friday and was scheduled to go for an MRI on Saturday. No word yet on the severity, but he's now ineligible to return this postseason. Justin Smoak will replace him on the roster while Darwin Barney and Ryan Goins will share second base duties.Rotoworld
Advice: It's not a big surprise, as Travis was forced to exit Game 1 on Friday after aggravating a right knee injury. He was scheduled for an MRI on Saturday. Darwin Barney will fill in at second base in Game 2. The other notable change from Game 1 is that Russell Martin and Troy Tulowitzki have been flipped in the order. The full lineup for Toronto against Josh Tomlin: Ezequiel Carrera LF, Josh Donaldson 3B, Edwin Encarnacion 1B, Jose Bautista RF, Troy Tulowitzki SS, Russell Martin C, Michael Saunders DH, Kevin Pillar CF, Barney 2B. J.A. Happ is starting for Toronto.Rotoworld
Advice: Travis returned to the Blue Jays lineup on Friday after missing the final two games of the ALDS due to a right knee injury. He re-injured the knee during the fifth inning of Game 1 against the Indians. He remains hopeful that he'll be able to play but admitted that the injury is very painful.

Advice: Travis retired Tyler Naquin on a ground ball to second base, but came away hopping around and in obvious discomfort. He was lifted shortly afterwards after a visit from manager John Gibbons and the team trainer. He'll head for further evaluation and the Blue Jays should have an update on his status shortly.

Advice: Gibbons said that Travis, who is returning from a right knee injury, is "moving good, but he's still a little hobbled," so it's not a surprise that the Jays plan to play it safe with him. Travis is at second base and batting ninth in Friday's ALCS Game 1.Rotoworld
Advice: Travis hasn't played since Game 1 of the ALDS due to a sore right knee, but he's responded well to treatment and a little rest. He has moved down to the No. 9 spot in the lineup, with Ezequiel Carrera remaining in the leadoff spot. The Blue Jays' full lineup is as follows: Carrera LF, Josh Donaldson 3B, Edwin Encarnacion 1B, Jose Bautista RF, Russell Martin C, Troy Tulowitzki SS, Michael Saunders DH, Kevin Pillar CF, Travis 2B.
