Player Notes
Brad Miller went 1-for-5 with an RBI double in Tuesday's loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Miller hit a run-scoring double off Joe Blanton in the eighth inning. The Rays would ultimately bring home two runs in the frame, but wouldn't score again as they fell by a score of 3-2. For the season as a whole, Miller has quietly put together a nice campaign, slashing .244/.292/.457 with 15 homers, 37 RBI and four steals over 324 at-bats.

Brad Miller is not in the Rays starting lineup for Friday's showdown against the Mariners.

Advice: He'll take a seat against his former club with southpaw James Paxton on the hill for the Mariners. The hot-hitting Tim Beckham will start in his place at shortstop and bat seventh for the Rays on Friday.
