Player Notes
Yasiel Puig is listed as day-to-day after aggravating his left hamstring during Friday's game.

Advice: While it's a day-to-day situation again, one wonders if the Dodgers might want to stick him on the DL this time in order to get him back at 100 percent next time. He already missed four games with the hamstring earlier in the week. Andre Ethier will probably get the start on Saturday.

Yasiel Puig exited Friday's game in the sixth inning with an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Puig got hit on the left knee in the first and was down for a couple of minutes before staying in. Still, that might not have been the reason for his absence; he seemed to have a different issue with his leg while running to first base in the sixth. Perhaps his hamstring was acting up again. Either way, he'd seem to be day-to-day.

Yasiel Puig (hamstring) is back in the Dodgers' lineup Tuesday.

Advice: He had played just once over the last week due to a hamstring issue. Puig is sporting a .267/.353/.533 batting line with two homers and four RBI in the early going for the Dodgers.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly is hopeful that Yasiel Puig (hamstring) will be ready to return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Advice: Puig returned to action Saturday after missing a few days with a hamstring issue, but he's sitting out Sunday with more soreness. It doesn't appear to be a major concern at this point, but we'll have to wait and see how he feels after the off day. Andre Ethier will see more playing time while Puig is out.

Yasiel Puig is not in the Dodgers' lineup Sunday.

Advice: Puig went 2-for-3 at the plate in his return to action Saturday after missing the previous four days with hamstring soreness. It's not clear at this point if he had a setback or if the Dodgers are just easing him back into things. Andre Ethier is in right field Sunday, while Justin Turner is at third base instead of Juan Uribe, Scott Van Skyle is in left field rather than Carl Crawford and A.J. Ellis is catching over Yasmani Grandal.

Yasiel Puig went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a walk Saturday against the Rockies.

Advice: Puig played the entire game in right field tonight after missing the previous four days with hamstring soreness.

Yasiel Puig (hamstring) is back in the Dodgers' starting lineup Saturday versus the Rockies.

Advice: Puig missed three games while nursing a hamstring injury. Fortunately it wasn't serious enough to land him on the DL. Puig has been boom or bust this year, jacking two homers but also striking out seven times. Carl Crawford will head to the bench with Puig back in the lineup.

Yasiel Puig (hamstring) remains out of the Dodgers starting lineup on Friday.

Advice: Puig tweaked his hamstring during Monday's contest and still hasn't felt good enough to return to the lineup yet. He worked out on the field prior to Friday's game and should be cleared to return at some point over the weekend. Andre Ethier is once again starting in his place.

Yasiel Puig (hamstring) is out of the Dodgers' lineup again on Wednesday versus the Mariners.

Advice: Andre Ethier will draw another start in right field. Puig tweaked his left hamstring on Monday night and is apparently still experiencing some discomfort. The Dodgers have a scheduled off day Thursday before kicking off a weekend set Friday against the Rockies. Puig should be ready to rock for that series-opener.
