Player Notes
Jackie Bradley Jr. delivered a two-run double off Leury Garcia in the top of the 14th to lead the Red Sox to a 6-4 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: The floundering Red Sox caught quite a break when the White Sox ran out of pitchers, forcing them to turn to an infield. After two two-out walks from Garcia, Bradley delivered the big hit, just Boston's third after the first inning of the contest. He finished the game 1-for-6 with a walk.

Jackie Bradley Jr. walked all three times up and scored two of Boston's four runs against the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Another really nice game for Bradley at the bottom of the Boston order. There's really no way for the Red Sox to keep him after Shane Victorino returns, not unless they trade Mike Carp. But he's making a case for sticking around.

Alex Speier of WEEI.com thinks Jackie Bradley could stick as the Red Sox' starting center field after Shane Victorino (hamstring) returns from the disabled list.

Advice: If he does, it would push Grady Sizemore to left field. Speier notes that Bradley has looked like "the most dynamic player on the team" since his call-up, while Sizemore has looked "tremendous in the batter's box but limited in the field." The alignment does make some sense, but it would certainly be bad news for Daniel Nava and Jonny Gomes. It's a good problem to have for the Red Sox.

Jackie Bradley Jr. 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Bradley has been excellent to start the season, sitting on eight hits in 20 at-bats. He struggled with the bat in his first taste of the big leagues last season, but has looked solid in the early going this year. However, Bradley's time in Boston is limited as Shane Victorino will eventually return from his hamstring injury. He can give the Red Sox something to think about by swinging a hot bat.
