- Incheon, South Korea
— Player Notes
Advice: The fact that he was able to pitch through the injury for as long as he did, and at the level of effectiveness, is a minor miracle. He underwent season-ending surgery on Thursday to correct the issue and should be ready to go for spring training next season barring any setbacks.

Advice: The procedure was called a "labral repair." Ryu will wind up missing the entire 2015 season, but he should be ready for the start of spring training next February. The 28-year-old left-hander from South Korea boasts a 3.17 ERA over his first 344 major league innings. He is under contract with Los Angeles through 2018.Rotoworld
Advice: Mark Saxon of ESPN Los Angeles reported the news on Wednesday morning, and now the Dodgers have confirmed it. An MRI taken earlier this week showed no major structural damage in Ryu's shoulder, but the cleanup procedure Thursday is sure to end his season anyway. He should be 100 percent for the start of spring training in 2016.

Advice: It had been looking that way, although Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said Tuesday that no decision had been made yet. The good news is that an MRI showed no tear in Ryu's labrum or any other structural damage, so the procedure would be of the clean-up variety. Still, it's almost surely going to end his season.
