Player Notes
Kole Calhoun went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Twins.

Advice: Calhoun, who has been on fire, was destined to torment Mike Pelfrey. He did just that. The outfielder, who came into tonight with three homers in his past four games, is slashing .276/.332/.438 and is on pace for 22 dingers and 91 RBI.

Kole Calhoun homered again and the Angels routed the Red Sox to take game one of Monday's doubleheader.

Advice: Calhoun, who finished 1-for-2 with a walk, drilled a two-run home run to right-center as part of a seven-run second inning against Eduardo Rodriguez. It's his third home run in two days and his sixth in his last 11 games. The outfielder now has 13 home runs, 51 RBI, and a .273/.329/.440 batting line.

Kole Calhoun went 3-for-3 with two homers and a walk Saturday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Calhoun played the role of Mike Trout in this one, collecting 60 percent of the Angels' hits in the 3-0 victory. Thanks to his resurgence -- he has five homers in his last 10 games -- it again looks like the Angels have three quality hitters in their lineup, rather than just two.
