Player Notes
Lucas Duda (knee) is back in the Mets' lineup Tuesday.

Advice: Duda was hit in the right knee by a pitch Sunday and was too stiff to start Monday. He's back out there Tuesday, though, against Ian Kennedy and the Padres.

Lucas Duda is not in the Mets' lineup Tuesday due to stiffness in his right knee.

Advice: Duda was hit by a pitch on the knee during Sunday's game. He was able to stay in that contest but obviously is feeling the effects a day later. The good news is that Duda thinks he'll be fine to play on Tuesday. Michael Cuddyer is at first base Monday, with Darrell Ceciliani covering left field.

Lucas Duda blasted a solo home run Friday against the Marlins.

Advice: Duda, who went 1-for-4 in the loss, has now gone deep six times in his last seven games. Through 48 games, the 29-year-old owns a healthy .304/.397/.550 batting line to go along with nine home runs and 24 RBI. Suddenly he's right on pace to duplicate his power production from last season.

Lucas Duda hit a pair of solo home runs and a double in a 3-for-4 effort Wednesday as the Mets topped the Phillies.

Advice: Duda started the scoring in the first inning with a solo shot off of Sean O'Sullivan. He victimized O'Sullivan again in the fifth with another solo blast, the last of four home runs the Mets hit against the Phillies' right-hander. Duda also had a multi-homer game on May 21, giving him five in his last six games. He has eight total on the season along with 23 RBI and a .305/.400/.539 batting line.

Lucas Duda (hamstring) is back in the Mets' starting lineup on Monday against the Phillies.

Advice: Duda tweaked his right hamstring while running to second base Saturday. It obviously wasn't a serious issue. The 29-year-old first baseman is batting .293/.385/.478 with five home runs and 19 RBI in 44 games this season. Juan Lagares (shoulder) is also back Monday.

Lucas Duda is not in the Mets' lineup Sunday due to a tight hamstring.

Advice: Duda tweaked the hamstring on a play at second base Saturday. It doesn't sound like more than a day-to-day concern, but the Mets will be careful. Michael Cuddyer is at first base Sunday, with John Mayberry covering left field.
