Player Notes
Lucas Duda clubbed a solo homer in Friday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: It was the only offense of the evening for the Mets, who just couldn't get anything going against Ryan Vogelsong. Duda is now up to 20 home runs on the year and has gone deep six times in his last nine games. We've seen some flashes of his potential in the past, but it looks like things are finally coming together for him.

Lucas Duda singled in a run and launched a two-run homer in Wednesday's win over the Phillies.

Advice: That gives Duda seven longballs this month and five over his last eight games. The 28-year-old is hitting just .262 for the season, but it's come along with a .358 OBP, 19 homers and 60 RBI. He's currently on pace for a 29-homer, 90-RBI campaign.

Lucas Duda is out of Tuesday's lineup against the Phillies.

Advice: Duda has been the hottest hitter in the Mets' lineup of late, but he'll take a seat against left-hander Cole Hamels. Eric Campbell will make the start at first base.

Lucas Duda hit his second game-winning home run in three days on Sunday, as his two-run homer proved to be the difference in the Mets' 2-0 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Duda tortured the Brewers in the four-game set, hitting three homers and driving in six. He's got four home runs in his last six games to give him 18 on the season. The first baseman is batting .259/.356/.500 with 56 RBI and has put himself into the mixed league discussion with his recent power surge.

Lucas Duda delivered a go-ahead two-run homer in a 3-2 win over the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: The Mets entered the top of the ninth inning down 3-0, but David Wright knocked in the first run with an RBI single and Duda followed with a long blast to right-center field. The 28-year-old has now gone deep three times in his last four games and is up to 17 home runs and 53 RBI on the year. It looks like the Mets made the right choice between him and Ike Davis.

Lucas Duda walked and homered in four at-bats in Thursday's loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Duda was the only one able to figure out Matt Garza, who dominated the Mets. Duda took Garza deep to center for a solo home run in the seventh inning, his club's only run of the evening. The first baseman has quietly been among the most productive at his position, at least offensively, as he is slashing .260/.360/.490 with 16 home runs and 51 RBI.

Fri, Jul 25 Rotoworld
Lucas Duda went 2-for-4 and hit his 15th home run in Tuesday's tilt with the Mariners.

Advice: Duda had a nice all-around game. Not only did he smack an eighth inning home run, giving him fifty RBI even on the year, he also stole his third base of the season. You shouldn't hold your breath for another steal any time soon (please don't), but speedster abilities aside, Duda's slashing .261/.357/.485. He's really putting together a nice season.
