Player Notes
Brandon Belt went 1-for-3 with two RBI in a win over the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: Belt hasn't exactly been crushing the ball since come off the disabled list -- he's got two hits in 11 at-bats since being activated on July 4 -- but he's now got four RBI in the three games. On Sunday, Belt hit an RBI single in the first inning before adding a sacrifice fly RBI in the eighth. Belt is hitting .257/.309/.500 overall this season.

Brandon Belt hit a two-run homer Saturday in the Giants' 5-3 extra-innings victory over the Padres.

Advice: It was Belt's only hit of the game but it was a big one, putting the Giants ahead for good in the top of the 10th inning. The first baseman was hitting the ball with authority on his minor league rehab assignment and can be added back to fantasy lineups with confidence.

Brandon Belt went hitless in his return to the Giants lineup on Friday, going 0-for-4 with a strikeout in a loss to the Padres.

Advice: The Giants offense as a whole couldn't get anything going against Eric Stults and company in this one. Now hitting .256/.308/.489 on the season, Belt is expected to give the Giants offense a much needed boost now that he has returned.

Giants activated 1B Brandon Belt from the 15-day disabled list.

Advice: Belt's left thumb still isn't quite 100 percent, but that didn't keep him from batting .520/.571/1.000 with three home runs over seven rehab games. He was hitting .264/.317/.504 with nine longballs and 18 RBI across 35 contests before fracturing his thumb in early May. Fantasy owners can feel free to immediately stick him back into their lineup.

Brandon Belt (thumb) will be activated Friday.

Advice: Belt has been on the disabled list since early May because of a fractured left thumb. The first baseman is 11-for-21 (.524) with three home runs so far on his rehab assignment and can be confidently added back to fantasy lineups as soon as he is activated.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday that Brandon Belt's left thumb is still a little sore and the first baseman is "not quite ready yet."

Advice: The good news is that Belt is still slated to play 7-9 innings for Triple-A Fresno on his rehab assignment Tuesday and could still be activated on Friday. Belt is 10-for-17 (.588) with three home runs so far on his rehab assignment, so obviously the soreness isn't affecting him that much at the plate.

Brandon Belt (thumb) went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI on Monday in his latest rehab game with Triple-A Fresno.

Advice: Belt, who is coming back from a fractured left thumb, is now 10-for-17 (.588) with three home runs, two doubles, six RBI, and a 3/1 K/BB ratio over five rehab games between High-A and Triple-A. He appears on track to join the Giants later this week.
