Player Notes
Steve Tolleson hit a three-run homer off Ken Giles to lead the Jays past the Phillies 4-1 on Thursday.

Advice: With Devon Travis looking probable for the second base job, it'll probably be between Tolleson and Ryan Goins for a utility gig, with Tolleson having the advantage of being out of options. Tolleson is hitting .259/.310/.556 in 27 at-bats this spring.

Steve Tolleson went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer Wednesday against the Rays.

Advice: Tolleson would seem to be a big beneficiary of Ramon Santiago's broken collarbone, but even so, his chances of winning a utility job might hinge on Maicer Izturis being named the starter at second base. Izturis is going to be on the roster either way, but Ryan Goins and Devon Travis can both be sent down if they don't start at second base.
