Player Notes
Chris Coughlan went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Coughlan's fifth inning shot off of Jeremy Hellickson drew the Cubs to within 4-3, but neither team would score the rest of the way, giving the Diamondbacks a sweep of the weekend series. The homer was Coughlan's seventh of the season and he's hitting .208/.283/.440. He'll give you the occasional home run, but he's sorely lacking in most other areas of play.

Chris Coghlan drilled two solo home runs in four at-bats, but the Cubs were bested by the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: Coghlan gave the Cubs a 1-0 lead with a third-inning solo home run off of James Shields. He gave the Cubs a fighting chance in the bottom of the ninth with another solo shot off of Craig Kimbrel to make it a 4-3 deficit. Coghlan now has six four-baggers on the year along with only nine RBI and a .205/.276/.429 batting line.
