Player Notes
Elvis Andrus hit a go-ahead two-run single in the ninth inning of Wednesday's win over the Rockies.

Advice: Andrus came through with the big single after Prince Fielder was intentionally walked to load the bases with one out in the ninth inning. The single was his only hit of the game, as he finished 1-for-4, though he also managed a sacrifice fly in the first inning of an offensive battle that seemed like it might never end. Andrus once looked like a budding star, but the shine has faded in the last few seasons and he's yet to achieve a slugging mark of higher than .378 in his career. It won't be happening this season, either, as he's currently slashing just .246/.299/.324 with three homers, 33 RBI, 33 runs scored and 10 steals.

Elvis Andrus went 2-for-5 with two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.

Advice: Andrus had a couple of singles, scoring in the second and fifth innings as the Rangers ran it up on the Rox. It's largely been another disappointing year for the 26-year-old, who can't seem to recreate the success he enjoyed just a few seasons ago. Andrus is hitting .246/.301/.325 after Tuesday's game.
