RHP Justin Masterson, the winning pitcher Thursday, has a 3.03 career ERA at Progressive Field. That's the lowest career ERA at Progressive Field for any pitcher with a minimum of 275 innings.

Masterson allowed two runs on six hits, walking three and striking out five over seven innings as the Indians dropped a 3-2 decision to Miami Friday night.
Recommendation: Better. The outing dropped his ERA to 5.04, but he is still not pitching especially well. In this game against the Marlins, he threw just 65 of 111 pitches for strikes, and he remains particularly vulnerable to lefty swingers who are hitting .308 against so far this season. He faces a tough match-up at home against Detroit (and Justin Verlander) in his next start.
