CF Andrew McCutchen, who hit two homers at Washington on Thursday, knocked out two more Saturday against Detroit. The pair of two-run shots were his sixth and seventh homers of the season and gave him six career multi-homer games.

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in the Pirates' win over the Tigers on Saturday.Recommendation: This was his second multi-homer game in three days, with Justin Verlander's near-no-no interrupting the performances. McCutchen might see fewer balls to hit moving forward considering the meekness of the rest of the Pirates' lineup, but his speed makes him a dangerous man to put on base without a fight.
