Player Notes
Evan Longoria went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a losing effort against the Angels on Friday.

Advice: A pair of runs actually scored on his single in the fifth inning, the second of which came across as Longoria was cut down between first and second base. With the two-hit effort, he's now slashing .257/.333/.391 on the season to compliment his 12 homers and 54 RBI.

Evan Longoria delivered a go-ahead three-run double in a 6-4 win over the Red Sox on Friday.

Advice: The Red Sox held a 3-2 lead going into the bottom of the seventh inning, but Ben Zobrist singled home a run (with some help from Jonny Gomes) to tie things up and Longoria eventually put the Rays in front with a bases-loaded double down the left field line. The 28-year-old has driven in nine runs over six games since the All-Star break.
