RHP Ubaldo Jimenez walked six in six innings but still got the win in the Indians' 5-3 victory over Detroit. Despite a 5.02 ERA, Jimenez has a record of 5-3. "He ended up with a lot of pitches because of all the walks, but I guess he walked the right guy -- Miguel (Cabrera) three times," said Indians manager Manny Acta.

Jimenez picked up a win despite a wild outing Tuesday against Detroit, walking six and allowing five hits and yet just three runs over six innings.
Recommendation: Although technically a quality start, Jimenez continues to be shaky. The three runs all came on a home run by a slumping Alex Avila, but there were baserunners against him all night. He won't be able to keep stranding them like this on a regular basis. Right now, there's little reason to believe he's anything but the pitcher his 5.02 ERA suggests he is.

Jimenez beat the Mariners and ace Felix Hernandez on Wednesday in a 9-3 win over Seattle on Wednesday night.
Advice: Jimenez gave up five hits and three runs over six innings. He threw 107 pitches - 27 in a long first inning - walked two and struck out four. "This is the best Ubaldo has thrown the ball this year," manager Manny Acta said.
