Player Notes
Adam Jones had a terrific night at the plate in Sunday's loss to the Red Sox, going 4-for-5 with a double, RBI and a run scored.

Advice: Jones RBI single in the sixth inning increased the O's advantage to 5-0 at the time, but unfortunately that would be the extent of their offense in the game. He's off to a very strong start at the plate this season, slashing .313/.347/.448 with eight RBI.

Adam Jones went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in Wednesday's win over the Rays.

Advice: Neither of Jones' hits left the infield, as he bunted for a single in the fourth and then beat out a swinging bunt in the fifth that plated a run. The outfielder had been slated to sit out Tuesday's game due to illness before it was rained out, but he wound up not having to miss a contest.

Adam Jones is in the Orioles' lineup Wednesday.

Advice: Jones had been slated to sit out Tuesday's game due to illness before it was rained out, but he's feeling better now and won't have to miss any action after all. The outfielder is batting .240/.278/.380 with one homer and five RBI on the young season.

Adam Jones (illness) is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Rays.

Advice: David Lough will make the start in center field. It's worth noting that there's nasty weather in the Baltimore area, so the game could potentially be postponed. Jones should be good to go in a day or two.
