Manager Fredi Gonzalez described Uggla's running ability at 50% after the second baseman tested his ankle with some moderate sprints Saturday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Recommendation: Gonzalez said he wouldn't be used as a pinch-hitter until he felt Uggla was running at about 75-80%, so expect the slugger to get in minimal game action before the All-Star break. |
