Player Notes
Nelson Cruz went 2-for-4 with his major league-leading 17th home run in a win over the Blue Jays on Friday.

Advice: It was a solo shot off Marco Estrada in the sixth inning. Cruz has multi-hit games in three out of the last four and currently leads the AL with a .354 batting average. Kendrys Morales pulled ahead in RBI with a big night Friday against the Cardinals, but Cruz isn't too far off the pace there either. He has 34 RBI for the year.

Nelson Cruz went 1-for-3 with two walks and a run scored in Thursday's loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Up against his old mates for the closing game of the series, Nelson Cruz decided to show mercy and hit a mere single. He also struck out twice. Cruz has been worth every penny the Mariners paid in the off-season and is currently hitting a mind-bending .351/.412/.708 with 16 homers, 33 RBI and 28 runs scored. The RBI total would be higher if the Mariners actually had other hitters who got on base, but alas, they do not.

Nelson Cruz kept his hold on the major league in home runs, blasting his 16th of the season as the Mariners fell to the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: Cruz went 2-for-3 with a walk along with the homer. It was a three-run blast in the third inning which temporarily broke a 1-1 tie. Bryce Harper had homered earlier in the evening to move into a tie with Cruz at 15 home runs, so Cruz reclaimed his throne. Along with the 16 homers, Cruz is batting .347/.404/.714 and has knocked in 33 runs.

Thu, May 21 Rotoworld
Nelson Cruz singled in Brad Miller in the bottom of the ninth to give the Mariners a 2-1 win over the Red Sox on Friday.

Advice: First base was open, so the Red Sox had the option of walking Cruz with two outs to bring up Kyle Seager. They opted to face Cruz instead, and he got ahold of a bad splitter from Junichi Tazawa, sending it to the gap in left-center. He's in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak.
