Player Notes
Billy Butler went 2-for-2 with a run scored in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: The Royals already had a spot in the Wild Card locked up and when the Tigers finished off the Twins, manager Ned Yost replaced most of his starters, Butler included. He ended the year on the upswing, recording multiple hits in five of his last eight games. It brought Butler's line up to .271/.323/.379 with 66 RBI in what was a down year for the 28-year-old.

Advice: Manager Ned Yost said Butler would be in the lineup all week, and he's made good so far, with Butler going 5-for-12 with four RBI in the series against the Indians. Butler still hasn't homered in a month, but the Royals will take the singles and doubles.

Billy Butler finished 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI double, and three runs scored as the Royals easily won against the Indians on Tuesday.

Advice: Butler extended the Royals' lead to 3-0, driving in the first of three fifth-inning runs with an RBI ground-rule double in the fifth. It was easily Butler's most productive game in about three weeks. The Royals would love to get Butler going in the final week, as he's sitting on a season-wide .267/.320/.375 slash line with nine home runs and 61 RBI.

Billy Butler went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in Sunday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: Butler got the scoring started with an RBI single in the first inning, one of nine hits the Royals got off Tigers starter Rick Porcello. The multi-hit game was his first in the month of September as he's become a part-time player down the stretch. Butler is hitting a disappointing .266/.318/.373 with a week left to play.

Tue, Sep 23 Rotoworld
Royals manager Ned Yost said Sunday that Billy Butler will be in the Royals lineup every day for the remainder of the season.

Advice: This after he went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's victory to raise his season slash to .266/.318/.373. While he's having a disappointing season at the plate, he's still a better option for the Royals than Josh Willingham or Raul Ibanez in the designated hitter's spot.
