Young limited Colorado to one run and five hits in the host Padres' 6-1 win on Sunday. Advice: Young, who had given up five runs in his last outing, improved to 3-3 with a 3.94 ERA in eight starts this season. He also improved to 5-1 with a 2.40 ERA in 10 career starts against the Rockies. |

Young allowed five runs in five innings Tuesday and took the loss at the hands of the Braves. Recommendation: Young broke a streak of three straight quality starts. Three runs came on the two home runs he allowed. Young has given up seven long balls this season, compared with just 10 all of 2007 when he pitched 173 innings. |
