RHP Chris Young is unlikely to pitch before the All-Star break Padres manager Bud Black said Thursday. Young has been on the disabled list since June 15 with inflammation in his right shoulder. "I came back too soon a couple of times," said Black. "In the long run, nothing good comes of that. You can pass all the tests and feel good until you put a load on it." Said Young: "I don't know the timetable, that hasn't been discussed with me. But this is not something I am going to play around with. I've never been through anything like this. I'm not going to pitch until it is ready."
