Player Notes
Marlon Byrd scored the game-winning run and had both of the Reds' runs in their 2-1, walk-off victory over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: Byrd singled and scored in the second inning before leading off the bottom of the ninth with a walk. He was sacrificed into scoring position and Skip Schumaker's RBI double plated Byrd as the winning run. Byrd's rate stats leave something to be desired, but he's still got 10 homers, 25 RBI and 20 runs scored on the year.

Marlon Byrd went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Indians.

Advice: Byrd drilled a Trevor Bauer offering to left-center, putting the Reds on the board for the first time. He appeared to be figuring things out, but slumped over the last week, going 2-for-24 between May 15-22. Byrd has a mediocre .203/.275/.434 triple-slash line with nine home runs and 24 RBI.

Marlon Byrd is not in the Reds starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: It's just a routine day off for Byrd against tough right-hander Corey Kluber. Brennan Boesch will start in his place in right field and bat eighth for the Reds on Saturday.
