May 13 Minnesota Twins SP Livan Hernandez allowed three runs on 10 hits in six innings to pick up his sixth win of the season Monday, May 12. KFFL

May 12 Hernandez gave up three runs over six innings with one strikeout and one walk to improve to 6-1 in Monday's win over the Red Sox.

Recommendation: Hernandez continues to win games and pitch late into games despite giving up 72 hits in 57.2 innings with a mediocre 21:11 K:BB ratio. It would seem this strong start can't last, but he often seems to find success despite poor peripheral stats.
