Fiorentina was left disappointed last Sunday after a 2-1 defeat at relegation battling Cagliari. The away defeat means the Viola have slipped down to fifth-place and have lost the initiative in the race for Champions League football. On Sunday the Gigliati entertain lowly Parma in Florence and will be desperate for a win to keep their hopes alive. Coach Cesare Prandelli has insisted his side will not give up with just two games remaining. "Milan is in form we know but we will fight until the end hoping to always be competitive," he said. "We have played an important season and we are still in the fight for fourth." A major blow for the Tuscan side is the news that key striker Adrian Mutu's season is over after the Romanian has been handed a two-match ban for his dismissal for dissent against Cagliari.
