 Team Report
Next Match: at home to Almeria, November 22

Mallorca usually starts the season slowly, before finishing strongly, but this year the islanders have got off to an excellent start. Gregorio Manzano's side lie in sixth place, despite going down 4-2 at Barcelona before the international break. The islanders are back in action at Son Moix on Sunday, against Almeria, and will look to preserve their 100% per cent home record with a win in that match. Mallorca has won all five league matches at home so far and also beat Valladolid 1-0 at Son Moix to advance to the next round of the Copa del Rey last week. Striker Aritz Aduriz is available again after injury and should feature on Sunday.
