Next Match: away to Atletico Madrid, January 20 Europe: UEFA Europa League (Round of 32) Levante goalkeeper Gustavo Munua will remain at the club until at least the end of the season despite having asked to go to back to his homeland to join Nacional last week. However, after meeting with club president Francisco Catalan it has been confirmed that the 34-year-old will see out his contract at Levante. Catalan told the club's website: "Gustavo will stay. He had a very nice opportunity, but he also understood our position. He is a very important player for us and we couldn't contemplate him leaving at this moment." |
