Next Match: away to TSG Hoffenheim, November 07 Europe: UEFA Champions League (Group B) Grafite could be back in a Wolfsburg shirt Saturday after returning from his one week break in Brazil more determined than ever to prove that the 28 goals he scored last season were no fluke. Grafite has only managed to find the back of the net twice this season, which was one of the reasons why Wolfsburg coach Armin Veh sent him home to take his mind off things for a while. And the Brazilian striker admitted it was a good move. "I am grateful for Armin Veh, he made the right decision," he told the club's website. "I was able to relax and spend time with my family and friends and that was very important for me. This is like a new beginning for me." Grafite's place in the attack in Hoffenheim this weekend is not guaranteed, though, since Obafemi Martins scored twice last weekend and has done nothing to deserve to be dropped back to the bench. |
