An emphatic 3-0 win at Bochum and defeat for Stuttgart and Hamburg this week means Schalke will be playing once again in the Champions League next season. Under the watchful eyes of future coach Fred Rutten, the Royal Blues demolished their local rivals on Tuesday, and the Dutchman was so impressed with what he saw that he will not be demanding large sums of money to spend on new players in the summer he is happy with what he will be inheriting. "There will not be a big overhaul," revealed general manager Andreas Muller after consultation with Rutten. "A multi-million dollar transfer is not planned."
