LANSING — Chicken wing fans in the Lansing area are going to have to wait a little longer to satisfy those cravings at the new Wing Snob.

The fast-casual restaurant, which planned to open at 3415 E. Saginaw St. just north of the Frandor Shopping Center in June, has been delayed due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic supply chain issues.

“It’s underway,” Wing Snob Co-founder Jack Mashini said in a statement provided by public relations representative Adam O'Connor. “... Estimated opening is end of September."

On Monday, Wing Snob signage could be seen outside the space and insulation could be seen piled in the building near the door. The Saginaw Street location will be 1,760-square-feet and will employ 20 people.

Wing Snob is based in Warren and was founded in Michigan in 2017 by Mashini and Brian Shunia. The chain offers hormone-free, never frozen chicken wings, chicken tenders, vegetarian-friendly cauliflower wings and French fries, according to a past company press release.
