Tala Alamuddin is launching her own collection- and big sister Amal Clooney is already wearing it
When Amal Clooney went for one of her first evenings out after giving birth to twins Ella and Alexander earlier this month, she was understandably keen to add a dose of glamour to the striped jumpsuit which she wore for the outing. That extra zhuzh came in the form of a pair of shoulder-grazing, tasselled earrings in metallic pink.
It turns out that rather than sourcing her statement-making accessories from one of the big name designers which she usually favours, Clooney's new earrings are a sample from the burgeoning collection of her little sister, Tala Alamuddin.

Called 'Totally Tala', the former events planner has been sharing tasters of her debut collection on her Instagram for the past few months. Fringing seems to be the signature detail which runs through the line with opulent fringed handbags in a bright palette of turquoise, yellow, purple and cobalt among the standout pieces. 80s-inspired biker jackets and cut-out leather chokers also make an appearence.
It seems that Amal has been a willing guinea pig for her sister's new venture. In late 2016, she also wore one of Tala's fringed handbags in mustard and has also previously accessorised with one of the chokers.

The sisters share a love for the high-octane glamour which is reflected in Alamuddin's designs. Just this weekend, Amal wore a Stella McCartney lime maxi dress with glittering silver thread detail for another evening out with George. In the past she has also been unafraid to chose bold looks for even the most serious work assignments; last September she was at the UN representing IS victim Nadia Murad but was unafraid to wear catwalk looks by Gucci and Dolce and Gabbana for her meetings.
Meanwhile, Tala often posts pictures of herself pairing her own designs with brightly printed maxi dresses, Roger Vivier heels or ripped denim.

The collection is currently only available to buy in Singapore, where Alamuddin lived with her former husband Nagi Hamiyeh. However, she promises that the collection will soon be available to order via her website- www.TotallyTala.com.
