Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday after leading his team to its first six-game winning streak since the 2004-05 season.

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, Fox’s former running mate in Sacramento, was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Fox averaged 25.0 points and 8.0 assists while making 27 of 45 (.600) field-goal attempts and 5 of 12 (.417) from 3-point range during the week of Nov. 14-20. He kept the Kings keep rolling with wins over the Brooklyn Nets, San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons.

The Kings (9-6) have won six in a row and nine of 11 to move into fifth in the Western Conference, just a half-game behind the Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets for second.

Fox is averaging career highs of 25.4 points and 4.8 rebounds to go along with 6.4 assists per game. He is shooting career bests of 55.8% from the field, 38.2% from 3-point range and 84.5% at the free throw line.

Haliburton averaged 21.0 points and 11.0 assists while shooting 53.2% from the field over the past week in wins over the Charlotte Hornets, Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic. The Pacers (9-6) have won four in a row and six of seven to climb to fifth in the East.

The Kings paired Haliburton with Fox when they selected him out of Iowa State with the No. 12 pick in the 2020 NBA draft. They traded him to Indiana last season in a deal that brought Domantas Sabonis to Sacramento.
