    Trouba arrived as a restricted free agent in need of a long term contract, so Jeff Gorton, John Davidson and friends inked him to a seven year, $56 million pact to anchor the team’s right side for the foreseeable future shortly after his acquisition. As one of only seven defenseman counting for at least $8,000,000 against the salary cap throughout the entire league, it would’ve taken a Herculean performance for Trouba to justify his salary from the back end.     The Rangers have found temporary homes for four of their under-contract prospects — forwards Vitali Kravtsov and Lias Andersson, defenseman Yegor Rykov and goalie Adam Huska. There were rumors of defenseman Libor Hájek also being loaned, but as of Tuesday afternoon, the Rangers said no such arrangement was in place. In an ideal scenario, the Rangers would be able to find playing time for Hájek and others, but European spots are limited.
