    On Friday, the Oakland Raiders came to terms with their seventh-round selection in the 2017 NFL draft in running back Elijah Hood. Hood was chosen with the No. 242 pick overall, with one of the four picks the team possessed in the seventh-round after Raiders general manager astutely traded back earlier in the draft. In his time at Chapel Hill, Hood played in 34 games, amassing over 2,500 career rushing yards, with 1,463 coming in his sophomore season, a season in which he also rushed for 17 touchdowns. The six-foot, 230-pounder finished sixth in UNC history with 29 career touchdowns, per the team’s press release.     LACEY — When Kiki Milloy woke up in her hotel room on Saturday, she turned toward the two teammates she was rooming with and mentioned a goal — the ultimate state-championship result that every team hopes for. “Guys, I have a feeling,” Milloy, Redmond’s sophomore pitcher, said Saturday morning. “I have a feeling that we’re going to be state champions today.” And she was right.
