Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are one of the best one-two punch in the NFL. They have this uncanny chemistry since their time with the New England Patriots, which is why Brady himself pushed Gronk out of retirement to join him on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On Tuesday during an appearance on the NFL Total Access, Gronkowski discussed his connection and chemistry with Brady, so much so that they didn’t even need to say a single word to each other.
With a win by the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football over the New Orleans Saints, a Tampa Bay Buccaneers victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13 would give them a nearly insurmountable four-game lead in the NFC South with five games remaining. Better yet, a Chicago Bears upset win over the Arizona Cardinals would give Tampa Bay the second seed in the NFC Playoff race, tied in record with the Green Bay Packers at 9-3. So all of that will be on the line this week in the NFL.
Right now, I’m trying to get back to the playoffs and win another ring with this squad, which is why I came back and why a lot of guys came back, too. But Fournette took advantage of his opportunity when Jones missed several games last season with COVID-19 and pulled a quad muscle in warmups prior to the NFC wild-card game at Washington.
