    The One Bears Position Group Earning Respect

    The people at Pro Football Focus, however, have determined at least one Bears position group ranks in the top half of the NFL. Thanks to David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert, the Bears running backs are ranked 16th overall by PFF in their positional group ratings. The Bears have three position groups ranked next to last by PFF, and the receivers have the dubious distinction of being rated last in the league.

    White Sox reinstate RHP Liam Hendriks, OF Adam Engel from IL

    The Chicago White Sox reinstated closer Liam Hendriks from the 15-day injured list and outfielder Adam Engel from the 10-day IL on Monday prior to their series opener against the visiting Minnesota Twins. Hendriks, a right-hander, has not played since June 10 due to a right forearm strain; he was placed on the IL June 14, retroactive to June 11. An All-Star in 2019 and 2021, Hendriks led the American League in saves last season (38) and was tied for the AL lead with 16 when he went on the IL.
