The Sacred Heart Academy soccer team won a penalty-kick shootout 4-3 to claim a 2-1 victory over host Simon Kenton on Monday in a quarterfinal of the state tournament. The teams were tied 3-3 after five rounds of penalty kicks, leading to a sudden-death round. After Amanda Isaacs made a save on Simon Kenton’s sixth shot, Allie George made her penalty kick to win it for the Valkyries.
