J.B. Bickerstaff a surprising casualty in Cavs effort to reach next step: Crowquill

The Cavs fired J.B. Bickerstaff Thursday despite the team steadily improving under his leadership after replacing John Beilein during the 2019-20 season. Under Bickerstaff's tenure, the Cavs finished with 22 wins his first year. Then the next season the Cavs doubled their wins to 44 and made the play-in tournament, losing both games. The next season, the Cavs improved again winning 55 games and making the playoffs as the No. 4 seed but lost to the No. 5 seed Knicks in five games.
