If you’re the type to believe that “the Suns should run it back next year with the same guys,” this is not the column for you. It’s still possible for James Jones to retain players like Dario Saric and Aron Baynes, and then add cheaper role players for depth. Some of those options will be covered in a future piece.
Nate Bjorkgren, who was once considered a candidate for the vacant Phoenix Suns head coaching job in 2016, has his foot in the door with the Indiana Pacers. Bjorkgren is after the job previously held by Nate McMillian. McMillian was fired last month after four seasons in Indiana.
