After a brutally tough overtime loss to the Sixers last night, the Jazz are coming off back-to-back losses for just the second time this season. Although it was just their ninth loss of the season, it is their third loss in five games, and some hard ones to swallow at that. It wasn’t just the losses that hurt, it was how these losses came to be, especially last night’s in Philadelphia.
The World Team consists of Heat forward Precious Achiuwa (Nigeria), Pelicans guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker (Canada), Washington Wizards forwards Deni Avdija (Israel) and Rui Hachimura (Japan), New York Knicks guard/forward RJ Barrett (Canada), Nuggets guard Facundo Campazzo (Argentina), Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke (Canada), Oklahoma City Thunder guards Luguentz Dort (Canada) and Théo Maledon (France), and Warriors guard Mychal Mulder (Canada).
The MVP odds shifted after Joel Embiid put up 40 points and 19 rebounds in a come-from-behind victory over the Utah Jazz.
