DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers have lost another player on waivers to the New York Mets. The Mets claimed right-hander Ty Adcock on Thursday, who had been designated for assignment by the Tigers five days ago . It's the third player the Mets have claimed from the Tigers in the last seven months. The Mets claimed left-handed reliever Kolton Ingram in February and infielder Zack Short last November . Ingram is now in the St. Louis Cardinals organization , while Short is now with the Braves . The Tigers claimed Adcock last month from the Seattle Mariners and optioned him to Triple-A Toledo. He allowed six runs on nine hits in six innings with the Mud Hens, striking out three and walking nine. The
