Marlins option P Soriano, call up SS Gray from AAA

The Miami Marlins purchased the contract of shortstop Tristan Gray from Triple-A Jacksonville and optioned right-hander George Soriano. To open a spot on the 40-man roster, the Marlins placed right-hander JT Chargois (neck) to the 60-day injured list. Gray, 28, has just two games of major league experience last season with the Tampa Bay Rays.
