Katrina Kaif: I was 18 when I met Salman Khan and that is the most memorable thing

Katrina Kaif made her debut with Kaizad Gustad’s 2003 movie Boom which did not perform well at the box office. However, her first Bollywood success was opposite Salman Khan in David Dhawan’s Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?

The duo who are currently in New York to attend the IIFA 2017 addressed the press yesterday.

Katrina was asked to share the most naughty or memorable thing she did at the age of 18. Responding to this, the 33-year actor said, “I was 18 when I met Salman [Khan] and that is the most memorable thing.”

Salman immediately quipped, “There is nothing naughty that I did. And there is nothing memorable that I have done.”

If this wasn’t enough, Salman also sang ‘Happy Birthday’ song for Katrina on the stage. Everyone joined Bhai to wish Kat by clapping and hooting for her. While giving a peck on her cheeks, Salman said, "The best thing about wishing someone Happy Birthday is this.”

Earlier, when Salman was asked if he would be joining Katrina for her birthday, he had said that he has no such plans as yet. “I hope Katrina invites me for her birthday,” the actor had said during Tubelight promotions.

On the work front, both Salman and Katrina will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai, which is slated to release this December.
