Training camp is less than two months away for the Charlotte Hornets and their preseason is going to have a distinct North Carolina flavor.

After opening up against the Celtics on Oct. 2, three of the Hornets’ four remaining games will take place in the state -- including a pair of consecutive matchups at Spectrum Center, league sources told The Charlotte Observer.

Indiana comes to Charlotte for Steve Clifford’s first game back on the sidelines in uptown as the Hornets’ new coach. The Hornets also host Washington at their home arena, which follows their previously-announced date with the defending Eastern Conference champion Celtics at the Greensboro Coliseum.

The Hornets wrap up their preseason action in Philadelphia two days after their game against the Wizards before LaMelo Ball & Co. turn their full attention to regular-season preparations. Bally Sports Southeast will broadcast the Hornets’ matchup with the Celtics in Greensboro and their date with the Wizards.

Here’s a look at their full preseason schedule:

Oct. 2: at Boston, 1 p.m.

Oct. 5: vs. Indiana, 7 p.m.

Oct. 7: vs. Boston (Greensboro), 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 10: vs. Washington, 7 p.m.

Oct. 12: at Philadelphia, 7 p.m.
