Green Bay Packers to host NFL FLAG Football regional tournament in June, registration open through June 13

GREEN BAY – June is usually a quiet month for football, but not this year.

The Green Bay Packers will host dozens of NFL FLAG Football teams on June 24-25 in an NFL FLAG Regional Tournament. Teams will play on Ray Nitschke Field and in the Don Hutson Center.

To be eligible, teams of boys and girls ages 4 to 17 must be participating in an NFL FLAG league and be located in the 13-state Midwest region. The states are Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.

The weekend will include a special celebration event from 4-9:30 p.m. June 24 at Titletown. Activities will include team introductions, photos with Packers alumnus James Jones, a skills challenge and fireworks to end the night. Early arriving teams that take part in the kickoff event will receive discounted Lambeau Field Stadium Tours and Packers Hall of Fame passes.

Registration is $350 per team until May 20 and $450 from May 21 to June 13. The first 50 teams to register, however, will get free entry by having their money returned after the tournament. To register for the tournament, teams can visit https://bit.ly/3w1CrNF.

Regional tournaments are held at multiple sites in each of four regions. Regional tournaments scheduled for specific geographic regions also will be held in Denver, Detroit, Hoover, Ala., Tampa, Hillsborough Township, N.J., and Baltimore. Super Regionals, which will accept teams regardless of where they are based, will be held in Atlanta in July and New Orleans in October.

Fall regional tournaments, which have not been scheduled, will be hosted by the Saints, Rams, Patriots, Browns, Commanders, Eagles, Texans and Cardinals. Those dates and locations are to be released after the NFL schedule is announced on Thursday.
