Andujar and Rooker lead Oakland outburst against Chris Sale as A's beat scuffling Braves 11-9
Miguel Andujar went 4 for 5 with a homer, four RBIs and three runs scored and the Oakland Athletics snapped Chris Sale's seven-start winning streak with an 11-9 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Saturday. Brent Rooker also homered and drove in four runs for Oakland. No. 9 hitter Max Schuemann was 4 for 4 with three runs scored.

San Diego sends Fresno State home with a 7-5 win in Santa Barbara Regional
Jakob Christian hit a two-run home run in the first inning and San Diego held off Fresno State at the end beating the Bulldogs 7-5 in the Santa Barbara Regional of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. Late, however, the Bulldogs threatened when with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning. Tommy Hopfe and Eddie Saldivar each singled to put runners at first and second.
