The Mandalorian may take place on an alternate timeline in some other universe, but Baby Yoda is throwing it back to the ‘90s. A Chia Pet modeled after The Child exists, and it’s actually too adorable for words. And yes, it even “floats.”

The Child Chia Pet recently hit the market — and it didn’t take long for TikTok to discover the terra cotta cutie and put him on blast. One particular video showing a buyer’s “ch-ch-ch-chia” growth went viral on the platform, gaining 6.4 million views and 1.4 million likes.

I mean, of course this adorable 50-year-old toddler got over a million likes. Come on, look at him.

The viral TikTok shows the simple steps for making a lush green chia forrest on Baby Yoda’s bassinet. All you do is soak the terra cotta planter, wet the seeds, then “paint” them on the designated areas. That’s about it. From there, it only takes one to two weeks for The Child to grow the little green chia leaves. Even the worst plant parent can’t mess this up.

Frankly, the bug-eyed Baby Yoda planter is super cute with or without sprouting seeds. The Chia Pet even comes with a see-through acrylic stand to mimic The Child floating in his bassinet. Can you even?

It’s not clear, however, how long this lush green baby blanket of sprouts will last. According to buyers online, Chia Pet sprouts can last between two weeks to a month (or even longer, if you have a green thumb) before needing replanting. The Child comes with enough seeds for three plantings, meaning you’ll likely need to scoop up more seeds for subsequent sproutings.

But this little darling is worth it — and you likely already have chia seeds to top your yogurt anyway.
